Journeys
Between the worlds,
Are made only by those
With the knowledge that thou and I
Are one.
We share
The Father’s Life,
The Mother’s substance, and
The bond which holds them together,
Loving.
To give
The gift of love,
With no hope of return,
Becomes easy when we first love
Ourselves,
Knowing
That we are one,
Together, with all Life,
And together, we will make these
Journeys.
The wheel turns again
But turns without help from me,
Though I watch it spin,
And form it’s circles with life;
I cast circles between worlds.
Child of the Mother,
Dancer between Sun and Moon,
You are my daughter.
I pray the gift gives you more
Pleasure than pain. Blessed be.
Until tomorrow,
When I hold you once again,
I will dream you near;
Closer than the air I breathe,
Or the love within my heart.
Until tomorrow,
When your warmth surrounds my soul,
And your body, mine,
I will feel you in my mind,
Pulsing with the love we share.
Until tomorrow,
When our separation ends,
And I feel your touch
Once more, electric and new,
Stimulating my essence.
I’ll wait until then,
With my memories of you
Keeping me alive,
Keeping the flame within me
Burning, until tomorrow.
A tear fell from your eye, into my heart,
And washed away a wall I’d placed within.
With firm resolve, I swore I would not start
To love again, nor let such dreams begin.
I’ve had enough of pain from foundered dreams,
That lie upon the wreckage of my soul.
Too many times I’ve lost, just when it seems
I’ve won; but then, the fates would take their toll.
Thus, walls were built, to keep the world at bay,
A world of love, that I had learned to fear.
So small a flood, it took to wash away
Those walls; a flood that was one, tiny tear.
My heart, no longer hidden by a wall,
I’d give, so that your tears no more would fall.
