Dancing
In the darkness,
Holding you close to me,
With your head upon my shoulder,
Life smiled.

I saw the Winter
In the color of your hair,
Though it was summer,
And the color of your hair
Was painted sunlight’s color.

See how I tremble,
Afraid to say the wrong thing,
And spoil the moment.
Though to you we are just friends
I would give you all I am.

Oh, how I tremble.
No terror of darkest night,
Nor demon of dreams
Do I fear, yet I tremble
for the fear of losing you.

See how I tremble
When you turn your smiling face
In my direction,
And I can only answer
with a smile, shy and trembling.

Again I falter,
Just before I find the strength
To open my heart
To you, once more I fear that
You will see how I tremble.
