I fear the night,
I fear to lose consciousness,
To enter the world wherein lies
The Dream.
It haunts my daylight and
Wanders in my darkness
Just out of sight, waiting for me
To sleep,
Again to dream,
A victim of the passion,
And burning desire that comes with
The Dream.
And the soft kisses
And my breath comes quickly even in
My sleep.
Asleep,
Yet more alive than all the hours awake,
Losing myself once again in
The Dream.
The Dream,
With you beside me,
Your soft hands touching me,
Wrapping around me while I sleep.
I feel you
Breathing softly upon my lips,
Moving beneath me like liquid fire in
The Dream.
Another night of love,
Tasting you on my lips,
Feeling your heat around me while
I sleep.
But soon, I’ll wake,
And spend another day fearing to sleep,
Only to wake once again,
And lose,
The Dream.
